Converted images download as one ZIP. Max 5 files, 10 MB each.
Convert photos to JPG, PNG or WEBP
This image converter changes up to five photos at a time into JPG, PNG or WEBP and packs the results in a ZIP. Use it when a form will not accept WEBP, when you need PNG for a signature with a clean edge, or when you want JPG for a smaller email attachment.
Each file can be up to 10 MB. Only JPG, PNG and WEBP are accepted, which matches what most phones and browsers already produce. Conversion runs in the browser, so the originals are not stored in an account.
Conversion does not replace resize. A 4 MB PNG converted to JPG may still be too large for a 50 KB portal. Convert for format, then open Image Resize for pixels or KB.
How to convert several images at once
Drop up to five files on the page. Invalid types or oversized files are flagged in the queue so you can remove them. Pick the output type, convert, and download the ZIP. Extract the ZIP and rename files if the portal expects a specific name such as photograph.jpg.

- ZIP download for the batch
Which format should you choose
JPG is the default for photographs and for Indian exam sites that list “jpg/jpeg only”. It uses lossy compression, which is fine for faces and scenery. PNG is lossless and better for text, stamps and signatures, but files are larger. WEBP is efficient, yet many government uploaders still reject it, so convert WEBP from a phone into JPG before you apply.
Going from JPG to PNG does not restore detail that JPG already discarded. It only changes the container. If you need a sharper signature, scan or photograph the signature again as PNG rather than converting a tiny JPG.
Batch convert for form packs
A typical application pack is a photo, a signature and a community or marksheet scan. Convert them to the same format the portal lists, then resize each to the KB cap. For a multi-page scan that should stay a document, use Image to PDF instead of converting every page to JPG.
Limits and practical tips
Five files keeps the tab responsive on phones. If you have more, run a second batch. If a file fails, check that it is really JPG, PNG or WEBP and not HEIC; iPhones often shoot HEIC, which this converter does not accept. Export or share as JPG from the phone first.
Keep originals. Conversion is a new file. If a portal wants PNG tomorrow after asking for JPG today, you can convert again from the original rather than from a twice-compressed copy.

Frequently asked questions
How many images can I convert at once?
Up to five. Each file can be up to 10 MB.
Can I convert PNG to JPG?
Yes. Add PNG files, choose JPG, convert and download the ZIP.
Can I convert WEBP to JPG for a government form?
Yes. That is a common reason to use this tool, because many portals still reject WEBP.
Is the converter free?
Yes, and it does not require a login.
Are my images uploaded?
Conversion runs in the browser. We do not keep a gallery of converted files.
Why is HEIC not listed?
Only JPG, PNG and WEBP are accepted. Export HEIC as JPG from your phone, then convert or resize here.
