Signature Maker

This prepares a signature image for a form. It does not submit an application. Pixel and KB limits follow the official notice, not this page.

Draw, type or upload a signature, then export a JPG for SSC, banking, railway and other forms. Default is 140×60 px at 10–20 KB.

Sign in one motion on white. Use a finger or a mouse.
Output

JPG at 140 × 60 px, 1020 KB, white background. Draw, type or upload, then generate.

Free signature maker for Indian exam forms

Signature Maker prepares the small JPG that SSC, banking, railway, NEET and many state portals ask for with the photograph. You can draw with a finger or mouse, type a cursive name, or upload a scan of ink on unlined white paper. The tool crops to the stroke, puts it on a white background, and exports the pixel size and KB band you set.

The default is 140×60 pixels and 10–20 KB, which is the box most candidates search for. Dedicated pages lock SSC, IBPS, Railway, NEET, UPSC, CUET and JEE starting values. Boards change notices. If this year’s form lists other pixels, edit the fields before you generate.

Work stays in the browser. There is no account and no watermark. The file is a helper for the upload, not a submission to any commission.

Draw, upload or type

Draw if you do not have a scanner: sign once, slowly, on the white pad. Upload if you already photographed the signature — crop away the desk and the lined paper. Type only as a last resort; attendance sheets still expect the same ink you used on the form.

Turn on Clean white background to push paper grey to white and keep the ink dark. That is what portals mean by “white background”. A selfie of a signature on a wooden table usually fails even when the KB is right.

  • Black or blue ink on unlined white paper
  • Running signature, not printed block letters of your name
  • JPG output — most forms reject PNG and WEBP
  • Match both pixels and KB, not only one of them

KB floors as well as caps

SSC-style rules often reject a file under 10 KB as well as one over 20 KB. This tool aims for the band, and may pad a tiny JPEG slightly so it still opens as a normal image. If the result looks empty, the crop missed the ink — reset and crop closer.

After the signature is ready, use Passport Photo Maker or the exam photo and signature pack so both files follow the same notice. Use Image Resize only when you already have the right crop and only the photo KB is wrong.

Frequently asked questions

What size should an SSC signature be?

A common prep target is 140×60 px JPG between 10 and 20 KB. Open the SSC signature page, then still read the notice for that year.

Can I draw a signature on my phone?

Yes. Use Draw, sign with a finger on white, generate, and download the JPG.

Why was my signature rejected for being below 10 KB?

Some portals set a minimum as well as a maximum. This tool targets the band. If a file is still too small, sign with a darker stroke and less empty margin.

Is a typed signature accepted?

Many halls want the same ink you uploaded. Typed cursive is only a fallback when you cannot scan a pen signature.

Do you store my signature?

No. The maker runs in your browser. Download the JPG and keep it yourself.
