SSC signature size
This prepares a signature image for a form. It does not submit an application. Pixel and KB limits follow the official notice, not this page.
Typical SSC prep is 140×60 px JPG between 10 and 20 KB, black ink on white. Confirm this year’s notice — pixel and KB rules do change.
Output
JPG at 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB, white background. Draw, type or upload, then generate.
SSC signature size for CGL, CHSL, MTS and related forms
Staff Selection Commission uploads usually want a short, wide JPG of your running signature, not a photo of the whole page. This page starts at 140×60 pixels and a 10–20 KB band, which is the prep target candidates use for CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD, CPO and similar notices.
Sign in black ink on unlined white paper, photograph in even light, crop to the stroke, then generate. If this year’s notice lists different centimetres or a different KB floor, change the fields. The commission’s PDF always wins.
How to photograph the ink
Use unlined white paper and a black or blue pen. Shoot from above in daylight without a shadow from your hand. Crop so only the signature remains, then generate.
- 140 × 60 pixels
- 10–20 KB JPG
- White background
- Same signature you will use in the hall
If the portal still rejects the file
Check file type (JPG), both pixel dimensions, and both KB limits. A 20 KB file at the wrong height still fails. If the notice changed, type the new numbers on this page and generate again.
