Universities publish their own conversion. Use the formula on your transcript or notice. This page does not certify a percentage for admissions.

SGPA to percentage
SGPA is the grade point for one semester. Colleges usually convert it with the same formula they use for CGPA. This page starts at × 10 (8.2 SGPA → 82%). Switch to VTU, GTU, CBSE or Mumbai if that is what your university publishes.
Do not average two different formulas across semesters. Use one conversion, the one named in the notice.
What this calculator does not do
It does not issue a marksheet, does not talk to CBSE or a university server, and does not decide cutoffs. If two formulas disagree, the notice or the controller’s letter wins.
