Aadhaar-related forms and many enrolment-style prints use a passport-like face crop, commonly 35×45 mm. This page starts that size so you can make a print or a digital file at home. It is not the UIDAI website, it does not update Aadhaar, and it does not generate a new Aadhaar card.
UIDAI and enrolment notices list their own pixel, KB and background rules. Crop here, then Image Resize if the portal names a file-size cap. Carry official instructions when you visit an enrolment centre.
White background and a usable face crop
A plain white background, even lighting and a recent photo help. Do not crop so tight that hair or chin disappear. Do not stretch a small selfie. If you need the plastic card laid out on A4, that is Aadhaar card print — a different tool for a scan you already own.
- 35×45 mm face crop to start
- White background
- Not an Aadhaar update or new UID
- Resize to KB when the form lists a limit
Aadhaar photo versus card print
Use this page for a portrait. Use Aadhaar card print only to layout a scan of an Aadhaar you already hold. Fabricating identity documents is illegal.
