35×45 mm photo crop (3.5 × 4.5 cm)

35×45 is the millimetre size: 35 mm wide, 45 mm high, the same as 3.5 × 4.5 cm. Forms also write 4.5 × 3.5 cm — that is the same rectangle, height listed first. This page locks the crop to that ratio so you are not converting centimetres by hand.

It is the standard Indian passport print size and a common visa and exam print size. A 35x45 crop is not a KB limit. If the portal wants 20 KB or 50 KB, crop here then open Image Resize.

Pixels at 35×45

At 300 DPI a 35×45 mm print is about 413×531 pixels. Some Passport Seva guides list other pixel boxes for the website. This maker prints at the millimetre size. Set exact pixels on Image Resize when the form names them.

  • 35×45 mm = 3.5 × 4.5 cm
  • Indian passport, many Schengen and UK photos
  • Not the same as US 2×2 in
  • Not the same as a 50 KB file size

Print a 35x45 sheet

Studios print a grid of 35×45 photos so you can cut them. Queue copies here and generate an A4 or 4×6 sheet. Open Print passport photos if the job is only the print layout.
