Print multiple passport photos on one A4 page

Studios sell a sheet of identical 35×45 mm photos so you can cut them with scissors. This page does the same at home: crop the face, add it to the print queue, set the copy count, and generate an A4 (or 4×6) sheet.

You can mix faces on one sheet for a family trip. Check the preview before you print so you do not waste photo paper. Print at 100% / actual size — “fit to page” will shrink the millimetres.

How many photos fit on A4

How many 35×45 mm photos fit depends on margin and gap. The preview counts photos on the sheet. A typical A4 grid is in the same range as a studio strip of about eight to a dozen small photos, not a single enlargement.

US 2×2 prints are larger squares, so fewer fit. Switch size before you add to the queue if the form is not Indian 35×45.

  • Queue copies, then generate the sheet
  • A4, 4×6, 5×7, A5 or Letter paper
  • Print actual size, then cut
  • Preview first

Home print versus studio

Home prints on ordinary paper can look dull or smudge. Photo paper and a clean cutter help. Some authorities still want a studio print. This sheet is a convenience, not an attested photograph.

Frequently asked questions

Can I print 8 passport photos on A4?

Yes, if the preview shows that many slots. Set copies in the queue, choose A4, and check the count before you print.

Can I print different people on one sheet?

Yes. Crop each face, add it to the queue, and set copies per person.

What paper should I use?

Photo paper if you have it. Print at actual size. Ordinary A4 works for a rough cut-out but may look less sharp.
