Layout a driving licence you already hold

Driving licence print crops your existing smart card or booklet scan onto an A4 PVC-style sheet. It does not issue a licence, does not connect to Parivahan, and does not replace mParivahan digital documents.

This page only lays out a scan of a card you already own. It is not a government service. Prints are unofficial copies and cannot be used as original ID. Fabricating or altering cards is illegal.

A home or shop print is not a driving licence. Traffic police and RTOs want the issued card or the official digital DL. Apply for duplicates only on Sarathi / Parivahan.

Smart card size

Most Indian smart-card DLs are CR80. Crop both faces, pair them, print actual size. Chip and hologram will not transfer.

Can I drive with this print?

No. It is an unofficial layout copy. Carry the issued licence or the official digital DL.

Does this print a new licence from Parivahan?

No. Duplicates and new licences are only through Sarathi / Parivahan.

My DL is a paper booklet.

You can still crop each face of a scan, but the millimetre size may not match CR80. Measure and use contain fit if needed.

Is making a fake DL illegal?

Yes. Do not use this tool to fabricate a licence.
