Merge exam documents

SSC, UPSC and railway portals often want one PDF. Merge the checklist, then Compress PDF if the file is over the KB or MB limit.

Organize Pages (Drag & Drop)

Merge exam documents into one PDF

SSC, UPSC, railway and many state boards still want a single PDF for part of the application: certificates, a filled form, or an enclosures pack. This page sets the download name to exam-documents.pdf. Read this year’s notice for order and size; portals change limits without a long warning.

The merger runs in the browser. It does not submit the form. Upload the download only on the official site named in the advertisement.

Notice order and size caps

Drag cards to match the annexure list, not your folder names. After the merge, if the portal says 200 KB or 2 MB, open Compress PDF. Photo and signature KB limits are a different job — use Image Resize or the SSC / railway photo pages, not this merger.

  • One PDF for the document pack the notice describes
  • Drag to match this year’s checklist
  • Default filename exam-documents.pdf
  • Compress if the upload slot has a size cap

Photos versus document PDFs

A passport photo that must be 50 KB JPG does not belong in this merge. Use the photo resize tools for that slot. Use this page when the board wants certificates or a multi-page enclosure as PDF. If a certificate is still a camera JPG, convert it with Image to PDF first.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge SSC or UPSC certificates into one PDF?

Yes, if they are PDFs. Upload them, drag to the notice order and download. Confirm the current advertisement for size and sequence.

The portal rejected the file as too large.

Merge first, then Compress PDF. Drop unused pages with Split / Delete Pages if it is still over the cap.

Should I merge my exam photo into this PDF?

Only if the notice wants the photo inside the document pack. Separate photo slots usually want a JPG at a KB cap — use Image Resize.

Is this an official SSC or RRB tool?

No. It only joins PDFs. Apply on the official regional or commission website.
