Merge PDF for a job application
Covering letter first, then CV, then annexures in the order the vacancy notice lists them.
Merge PDF for a job application
Many vacancy notices ask for a single PDF: covering letter, curriculum vitae and annexures. This page sets the download name to job-application.pdf. Drag the first-page previews so the letter leads, the CV follows, and certificates sit in the order the notice lists.
Merging runs in the browser. Treat the download as you would any other personal PDF. Do not send a pack through unofficial channels.
Match the vacancy checklist
Keep the advertisement open while you drag. If the board wants experience letters before educational certificates, put those cards earlier. If one annexure’s pages are back to front, fix that file with Arrange PDF, then merge.
- Covering letter first unless the notice says otherwise
- CV and annexures as separate files you can reorder
- Default filename job-application.pdf
- No login
After the merge
If the portal has a size cap, open Compress PDF. If you need to drop a page, use Split / Delete Pages on the merged file. Keep source PDFs until you receive an acknowledgement; merging is easy to redo if HR asks for one more certificate.

Is this an application portal?
No. It only joins files. Submit the download on the official careers site named in the notice.
