Gangabhoj Invitation Bulk Name Generator

Gangabhoj (and similar bhandara / shradh meals in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and nearby states) is often announced with a printed card that names the inviting family or the person in whose memory the meal is held. Printers then want dozens or hundreds of copies with different addressee names — relatives in other villages, neighbours, samaj lists.

Upload the blank Gangabhoj card, add an Excel sheet of names (and village, date, ghat or hall if those vary), place the fields, and generate a ZIP for the press. This is a layout helper. It is not a religious service and does not send notices for you.

Hindi headers and fonts

If the first row is नाम, गाँव, दिनांक, स्थान, place those columns as variables. Pick a font that includes Devanagari. Preview three or four rows that mix Hindi and English so the line height still fits the printed panel.

Many cards also have a fixed block (the deceased’s name, gotra, and the meal time) that should stay as part of the uploaded image, not as a spreadsheet column, unless it changes per copy.

Respect the occasion

Keep the original artwork from the family. This tool only overlays text. Do not invent seals or letterheads of temples or municipal bodies.

Can the addressee be in Hindi and the rest of the card in the image?

Yes. Merge only the Name (or नाम) column. Leave the printed Hindi verses in the template image.
